QUIET DOWN AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF BY VISITING IN OUR SCHOOL

THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

The Alexander Technique is the teaching of a holistic and balanced way of being, with special attention being paid to how we react to different stimuli.

The purpose is to minimise harmful habits and to strengthen favourable operating methods so that our we can function in a sustainable manner in various life situations. The goal is to develop the long term ability to make choices that increase awareness, vigilance and wellbeing.

LESSONS

Private lessons are concise teaching sessions where the teacher focuses on the holistic guidance of the pupil. You will receive accurate and individual feedback on the way you react and approach the things that are important to you in your life.

COURSES

We organise courses and group teaching and theme days. Most of our events are in Finnish, but if you wish to book a private event or workshop for a group, we are more than happy to teach in English. We recommend group sizes of 3-8 people.

TEACHER TRAINING

We have launched a teacher training program in Kallio, Helsinki. After the three-year program, the attendees become qualified Alexander-Technique teachers.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or if you are interested in the programme.
