JOIN OUR SCHOOL
The school offers a community where one can study the Alexander Technique intensively. It also provides the opportunity to complete a qualification to become a teacher of the Alexander Technique. The next teacher training program begins in January 2026. School days are from Tuesday to Friday (usually from 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM). Additionally, the school offers further education opportunities for those who have already qualified in the profession.

THE SCHOOL DAY
The day includes two individual guidance sessions, a group teaching moment, and a themed lesson with discussions. On Thursdays, school starts and ends one hour later.

Katri-Mari teaches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while Soile is responsible for teaching on Thursdays and Fridays. Laura teaches occasionally.

ABOUT THE COURSE
TRAINING
The training takes three years and leads to an Alexander Technique teacher's qualification. Both English and Finnish are used in the program.
SUPERVISION
The training is in accordance with the rules of the international ATAS community and is supervised by Finstat ry.
PREMISES
The school is located at Itäinen Brahenkatu 13C, Helsinki.

TEACHING
There are 33 teaching weeks in the academic year and each week has 4 classroom days (4h15min/day, a total of 1600h). The teachers to trainees ratio is at least 1:5.
FEES
€8,800 (incl. VAT 25,5%) /year, payable in instalments.

INDEPENDENT STUDY
The studies also include weekly homework and regular independent development of one's use of the self.
